CAIRO, June 14 (MENA) - The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry set on Sunday regulations for Egyptian and foreign archaeological missions operating in different sites in Egypt amid Covid 19 fears.

Under the regulations, all members of the mission will have their temperature checked by thermometer guns every day, said Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Antiquities Moustafa Waziri.

Workers should wear face masks and gloves and have their digging tools disinfected all the time, he added.

Not more than 30 workers would be allowed inside the open-air site with social distance regulations being applied.

Only four people, including the antiquities inspector, would be allowed inside the tomb or burial chamber, he said.

All workers should take necessary safety and health precautions while eating or drinking in the break time, he said.
