CAIRO - 24 June 2017: First deputy speaker of the pan-Arab Parliament lawmaker Ahmed Raslan has strongly condemned a terrorist attempt targeting the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

In a statement on Friday, Raslan described the foiled attack as cowardly, praising the Saudi security for thwarting the attack.

Earlier in the day, Saudi security forces foiled an attack on the Grand Mosque in the Muslim holy city of Mecca.
