BEIJING, Feb 1 (MENA) - The coronavirus outbreak has killed at least 259 people and infected about 11,821 people in China until Friday, China's National Health Commission (NHC) said.

The number of confirmed cases in China grew by about 2,102 on Friday with about 46 people dead, the NHC added in its daily report.

The NHC said that 243 people were discharged from hospitals after they healed.
