During the visit, Sisi participated in the G20 Africa Partnership conference. He met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday, where he called for concerted international efforts to face countries funding and supporting terrorism.

Three economic developmental deals worth €203 million ($227.47 million) were signed on the sidelines of the German-Egyptian Economic Forum in Berlin, in several fields including: renewable energy and education.

This is the second time Sisi visits Germany since he assumed power, where his first visit was in 2015.
