CAIRO 12 June 2017 Security authorities at Cairo International airport received 44 deported Egyptian workers from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Lebanon for violating the conditions of their residency and work permits.

According to a source at the airport, 38 deportees arrived from Saudi Arabia, while four arrived from Kuwait and two others from Lebanon. Assistant minister of interior for airport security Fahmi Mujahid has ordered the formation of a team of specialists in order to expedite the deportees’ arrival procedures.

The deportees have stated that they have been arrested abroad because they violated their residency and work permits. After further examination, it was discovered that six of the 44 deportees were wanted in order to carry out judicial decisions against them, although in which country they are wanted was unclear. These six were detained in Egypt for legal proceedings against them.
