CAIRO – 13 June 2019: The second-day activities of the African Anti-Corruption Forum (AACF) kicked off in Sharm el Sheikh Resort on Thursday.

The forum’s three sessions will tackle the anti-corruption mechanism all over the African countries, the role of African NGOs and Private sector in combating corruption.

“The human Resource Development in Many fields to combat corruption in African continent” is the theme of the second session, which focuses also on the good make use of modern technology for combating corruption in Africa. Meanwhile, the third session sheds lights on the inter-governmental cooperation to help eradicate the corruption politically and financially.

During the inaugural session of the African Anti-Corruption Forum (AACF) held in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi affirmed that "Egypt will continue to support the joint efforts to combat corruption at the African level."
The Egyptian president urged cooperation between African nations in the face of corruption, affirming the importance of concerted efforts, exchanging visions and enhancing coordination to curb corruption.

The African Anti-Corruption Forum (AACF) brings together participants from 51 African countries and four Arab countries.

The forum is held in line with an initiative that was launched by president Sisi in January 2018 during his participation in the annual African Summit.
