TRIPOLI, June 7 (MENA) - Director of the Press Office of the Libyan National Army (LNA) General Command Khalifa Al-Obeidi announced Friday that the Air Forces have destroyed another Turkish drone in an airstrike launched on the military section of Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, Al Arabiya news channel reported.

This is the second Turkish-made drone to be shot down by the Libyan Air Forces in less than a day, Obeidi noted.

Obeidi said the Libyan Air Forces at dawn Thursday destroyed as well a Turkish drone at Mitiga International Airport which he said has carried out several strikes against military and civilian posts.

The LNA accuses Ankara of sending weapons in addition to military equipment and personnel to back the militias belonging to the Government of National Accord.
