KUWAIT CITY, April 10 (MENA) - Yemeni Foreign Minister Khaled al Yamani commended the role played by Egypt headed by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to settle the Yemeni crisis.

The Yemeni minister made the remarks on Wednesday in an interview with MENA on the fringe of his official visit to Kuwait.

He highlighted the depth of bilateral ties, hailing Egypt's hosting of more than one million Yemenis.

He said the war in Yemen will end only when the Houthi militias hand over their weapons, underlining the importance of commitment to the national dialogue outcome, the Gulf initiative and the United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2216 on settling the Yemeni crisis.
