Egypt suspends flights with qatar: Ministry of Civil Aviation

CAIRO – 05 June 2017: The Ministry of Civil Aviation declared Monday that all flights to and from Qatar will be suspended starting Tuesday.

Aviation Ministry Media Consultant Abdul Karim said in an interview that the Egyptian airspace will be closed to Qatari flights starting Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. Cairo time. Banning all Qatari flights from crossing, entering or leaving the Egyptian teritory.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia,the UAE, and Bahrain announced cutting their diplomatic ties, with Qatar, early morning, over its continous support for terrorism; closing their airspace and seaports for the Qatari transportation on Monday. The four Arab countries withdrew their diplomatic missions from Qatar.
