SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt, Feb 25 (MENA) - Arab and European leaders held on Monday a closed session on means of dealing with regional challenges.

The get-together is held within the framework of the first Arab League-European Union Summit which opened in Sharm El Sheikh on Sunday.

The talks tackled a host of issues of common concern, topped by the Arab-European ties at the political, security and economic levels as well as the latest developments in the Arab region, including the Syrian, Yemeni and Libyan crises.

The session also addressed the Palestinian cause as well as means of confronting illegal migration, refugees conditions and ways of curbing climate change.

A general session will be held later in the day to review Arab-European partnership and means of dealing with international challenges.

Then, the final session will be held and will be followed by an international press conference.
