Authorities released the video recorded on a surveillance camera in an alley where the explosion took place.
The 21-second clip opened on the bomber, who was masked, coming out of a residential building, where he is believed to be hiding from police men who were following him. He rode his bike in the narrow street, where passersby were seen walking by him, but the policemen shortly appeared running after him, and once they caught the bomber, he detonated the explosives, which were identified as IEDs.

Egypt's minister of Interior has previously revealed in a statement that the efforts to find the assailant behind the planted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) near Al-Istiqamah Mosque in Giza governorate on Friday, had led them to Al Darb al-Ahmar neighborhood near Al Azhar mosque.
