CAIRO – 31 May 2017: Endowment Ministry confiscated 127 books from mosques in Damietta governorate, for inciting violence, including books of outlawed Muslim Brotherhood (MB) clerics like Yousef al-Qaradawy, Sayed Qutb and Mohamed Omara, according to ministry’s secretary, Mohamed Salama.

“The books hold extremist ideas of the MB clerics, which aim at washing youth brains and incite violence,” Salama told Egypt Today.

The books, according to Salama, were given to the mosques during the rule of the Brotherhood, and their president Mohamed Morsi.
