Egypt chairs Arab tourism council meetings

Cairo, Dec 9 (MENA) - Egypt's Tourism Minister Rania el Mashat will chair on Monday the 21st session of the Arab ministerial tourism council.

The meetings will be held at the premises of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria.

Among the topics on the agenda is a plan to provide tourism statistics and information to boost the Arab tourism strategy, said the Egyptian tourism ministry in a statement on Sunday.

Mashat is also set to attend a separate meeting of the Arab culture and tourism ministers at Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).

Palestine chaired the 20th session of the Arab ministerial tourism council in Cairo.
