CAIRO, Nov 26 (MENA) - Military Production Minister Mohamed Saeed el Assar discussed on Monday with Aswan Governor Ahmed Ibrahim construction projects implemented by the Military Production Ministry in Aswan governorate in Upper Egypt.

The meeting also took up a project to establish a factory for manufacturing solar panels, which is implemented by the ministry, in cooperation with global companies, as well as plans to implement the first stage of the project in Aswan's Edfu city, in cooperation with Egyptian Ferro Alloys Company S.A.E. (EFACO).

For his part, the governor stressed the importance of projects carried out by the Military Production Ministry, saying these projects will help increase the number of tourist trips to Aswan and attract investments to the governorate.

He highlighted among the most important projects being constructed in Aswan governorate the "Benban Solar Park" which is a photovoltaic power station with a planned total capacity of 1650 Mega Watt peak (MWP), which corresponds to an annual production of approximately 3,8 terawatt hours (TWh).
