CAIRO - 21 November 2018: Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Neris Germanas conferred with Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister Amr Ramadan on means of furthering bilateral ties in different domains in addition to opportunities available for cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, health care, education and tourism.

In a statement by the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, a copy of which obtained by MENA from the Lithuanian embassy here, Germanas said that Egypt is a very important economic partner to Lithuania in the region.

Talks between the two sides also covered arrangements for a planned visit by the Lithuanian foreign minister to Cairo early next year.
