KUWAIT CITY - 6 November 2018: The First Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation forum held under the rubric "brotherly partners" will kick off on Wednesday Nov 2. with a special focus on investment in Sinai and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).

The Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation forum will be held under the auspices of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who is also set to attend the event.

The event aims at supporting the Egyptian economy and the development plans adopted by the state via encouraging foreign investors on pumping more investments to Egypt.

It also aims at shedding light on the distinguished Egyptian-Kuwaiti ties at all the different levels.

This comes in light of Kuwaiti keenness on standing on more investment opportunities in Sinai and SCZone as well as getting briefed on industrial and real estate opportunities available in Egypt in the coming phase.

Several entities will take part in an exhibition that will be inaugurated as part of the activities of the forum including Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone, Wadi El Nile For Contracting and Real Estate Investments, Administrative Capital For Urban Development (ACUD), National Bank of Kuwait and Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries Company.

The first working session of the event will tackle the results of the Egyptian economic reform program while the second session will discuss the investment climate in Egypt and opportunities of industrial investment and sustainable development plans especially in the SCZone.
