Minister: Relations between Egypt, Kuwait excellent

KUWAIT CITY - 18 September 2018: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind al Subeih on Tuesday said that relations between Egypt and Kuwait are excellent.

In statements to MENA, she added that the two countries are cooperating for solving any problem facing Egyptian workers in Kuwait.

She added that the number of Egyptian workers in the Kuwaiti private sector reached 445,000 out of a total foreign workforce of 1.697 million.

Egypt ranks second after India on the list of foreign workers in the Kuwaiti private sector, she added.

Kuwait is a state of law that preserves the rights of all workers, she pointed out.

She pointed out that relations between the labor ministries in both countries are excellent.
