CAIRO – 15 September 2018: The Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation will organize Africa 2018 Forum on December 7-9 in cooperation with the COMESA Regional Investment Agency.

The forum, to be organized in Sharm el Sheikh city, will be held under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

Themed “Bold leadership, collective commitment: advancing intra-African investments,” the event will be attended by heads of state and ministers from various African states in addition to some 2,000 Egyptian, African and foreign businessmen and investors.

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr said in a statement Saturday that the forum will focus on the women’s role in setting priorities for Africa.

A statement will be presented to the heads of state participating in the event about the African women’s interests, priorities, needs and aspirations, she noted.

The minister also stressed the political leadership’s keenness to achieve effective cooperation in the field of development and investment among African countries.
