Egypt among 7 countries invited by UN to discuss Syrian future in Sept.

GENEVA - 28 August 2018: The spokeswoman for the United Nations office in Geneva announced on Tuesday that the UN envoy to Syria will invite Egypt, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UK and the US to a meeting here on the future of Syria on September 14.

She added that the UN envoy will discuss with representatives of these countries the peace process in Syria on the basis of the United Nations Security Council resolution 2254.
