Min. Shawqi extols President Sisi's declaration of 2019 year of education

CAIRO - 31 July 2018: Education Minister Tareq Shawqi lauded President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi's declaration of 2019 "Year of Education".

This came in press statements on the sidelines of his meeting on Monday night with several Arab and African ministers to post them on Egypt's new education system.

In case 30% of students benefit of the new education system, this will be the key to the success of the whole system, the minister said.

The Education Ministry works on upgrading the National Center for Examination and Educational Evaluation, he noted.
