CAIRO – 14 June 2018: Egypt’s Meteorological Authority expects a hot weather to prevail across Egypt on Thursday with Cairo seeing highs of 39°C and lows of 23°C.

Clouds are low in northern Egypt. Winds are light to moderate northwesterly, active in Cairo, Upper Egypt, and South Sinai.

The Mediterranean and Red Sea will be light to mild, with a wavelength of one meter to 1.5 meter and northwesterly surface winds.

Weather in the cities along the Mediterranean coast of Alexandria and will see highs of 33°C and lows of 23°C, while Marsa Matrouh will see highs of 30°C and lows of 22°C.
The temperature is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius (°C) in Aswan, and lows of 28°C.

The weather forecast predicted grades in some governorates (in degrees Celsius);
Temperature Port Said (31 day, 22 night), Suez, (38 day, 22 night), Asyut (39 day, 21 night), Qena (40 day, 25 night), Al-Minya (39 day, 22 night), Sohag (40 day, 25 Night), Hurghada (38 day, 27 night).

Last week, a heat wave started across Egypt, with Upper Egypt’s city of Aswan reaching highs of 45 degrees Celsius.
