CAIRO - 9 May 2018: Arab Parliament Speaker Mishaal al Salami stressed the rejection of foreign interference in Arab affairs especially that the Iranian regime insists on carrying out its schemes in the Arab countries.

It adopts a hostile policy against the Arab countries which contradicts with the international law and the principles of good neighborhood, he noted.

During his speech before the the second session of the Second Legislative Term of the Arab Parliament held in Morocco's Rabat, Salami underlined that the best way to settle the crises witnessed by some Arab countries is dialogue.

Out of this belief, the Arab Parliament works with the Libyan parties to reach a political solution that protects the unity and sovereignty of the Libyan territories, the speaker asserted.

He further affirmed that the parliament supports the efforts of the United Nations (UN) envoy in Yemen to achieve comprehensive peace in the Arab country.

The humanitarian conditions in Syria entails taking effective steps by the international community to protect the civilians in Syria, he reiterated.
