CAIRO - 14 April 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi headed on Saturday to Saudi Arabia to participate in the 29th Arab League Summit, which is set to kick off in Dammam on Sunday.

During their preparatory session, Arab foreign ministers set forth several issues to be fully discussed during the summit, especially the tense situation in Syria and the raging cold war between Russia and the U.S. regarding allegations of using chemical weapons. It will also tackle the US-British-French airstrikes on certain parts in Syria.

Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Libya are also expected to be at the top of the summit’s agenda.
