KUWAIT CITY - 6 March 2018: Egyptian Ambassador Tarek el Qouni on Tuesday had talks with Kuwaiti Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lt. General Mahmoud el Dousary at the Interior Ministry headquarters.

The talks took up arrangements for the vote in the coming Egyptian presidential elections slated for March 16-18 for Egyptian expatriates, said Qouni in press statements to MENA.

The two sides discussed measures adopted by the Kuwaiti side to ease the movement of voters to the premises of the embassy to cast their ballots, he added.

The meeting also touched on security arrangements during the electoral process, he pointed out.

The talks reviewed means of promoting joint security cooperation, added the ambassador.
