Higher education minister, TIEC president confer on scientific cooperation

CAIRO - 31 January 2018: Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met Wednesday with President of the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) Robin Lerner to discuss partnership between Egyptian and US universities.

The meeting took up cooperation through exchanging expertise between the two sides, as well as in distance learning, Abdel Ghaffar said.

They also discussed cooperation in joint research programs in fields that best serve Egypt's 2030 sustainable development plan.

Lerner said cooperation with Egypt is ongoing, particularly where joint cultural and scientific projects are concerned.
