CAIRO – 5 January 2017: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, revealed his happiness after winning the CAF African Player of the Year award on Thursday night in the CAF ceremony held in Accra, Ghana.

Salah left Roma to join Liverpool. The player shined in the Premier League, scoring in total 22 goals for the team.

Salah also led Egypt’s national team to the 2018 World Cup after a 28-year absence. He scored 5 out of 7 goals in the qualifiers.
