KHARTOUM - 14 December 2017: Sudanese President Assistant Ibrahim Mahmoud discussed in a meeting on Wednesday with the US Charge d'Affaires in Khartoum Stephen Coates the latest developments of peace process in the states of Darfur, South Kordofan and the Blue Nile.
“The US believes it is the time to push forward the peace process, and therefore, we urge the (Sudanese) government and armed groups to make good use of this opportunity and enter into constructive negotiations for achieving peace and stability in the country,” Coates told reporters following the meeting.
