CAIRO – 2 April 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi starts his official meetings in Washington D.C. Sunday morning; he is set to meet Chairman of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim, Chairman of the board and CEO of U.S.-based conglomerate General Electric Jeff Immelt, and Marillyn A. Hewson, chairman, president and CEO of Lockheed Martin Corporation.

President Sisi will later meet representatives of the Egyptian community in the U.S. on Sunday afternoon Washington time, according to Youm7.

Sisi arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington Saturday evening.

He was welcomed by Egyptian Ambassador in Washington Yasser Reda, Acting Chief of Protocol Rosemarie Pauli, Commanding Officer of the Naval Air Facility at Andrews base Captain Scott Fuller, representative of the Muslim Egyptian community in the U.S. Sheikh Tarek El Gohary, representative of the Coptic Christian community Bishop Thomas Makhlouf and members of the Egyptian diplomatic delegation in Washington.
