Meeting with Parliament speaker routine, says PM

CAIRO - 21 November 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said his meeting on Tuesday morning with Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal was routine.

Ismail explained that the meeting shed light on a number of draft laws and the priorities in the coming phase.

He said the government respects and appreciates Abdel Aal's vision.

Meanwhile, the prime minister said his meeting with Minister of Local Development Hisham el Sherif included the topics on the agenda of the council of governors meeting which will be held on Thursday and a discussion of a number of projects, such as sewage treatment in villages and ways to finance these projects in the coming phase.

These projects come within the government plan to ease the daily lives of citizens, Ismail pointed out.

Separately, the prime minister said the price of wheat supply for the next season will be fixed in mid-March like in the previous year.
