Tunisian PM pays Egypt 2-day visit

CAIRO – 10 November 2017: Tunisia’s Prime Minister Youssef el-Shahed is expected to arrive in Egypt on Saturday, November 11, for his first official two-day visit in which he is scheduled to meet President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

According to the official statement, Shahed’s schedule includes participating in the 16th Session of the High Joint Committee of the two countries and the Tunisian-Egyptian Economic and Investment Forum.

Shahed’s visit will mark his first since taking office in August 2016. The Tunisian Prime Minister is supposed to hold meetings also with Egypt’s parliament speaker Ali Abdel Aal and Prime Minster Sherif Ismail.

Several joint agreements are expected to be signed during the visit between the two countries.
