CAIRO – 7 November 2017: Egyptian entrepreneur, Ahmed Adel, demanded the association of scientific research with industry and the creation of a new ministry for innovation on Tuesday during the session of “Innovative Youth Experiences in Entrepreneurship”.

“The innovator or researcher will look first for a funder to turn his scientific research into an application,” added Adel.

Coinciding, a researcher in the field of technology, Mina Bakheet, said that researcher always aims to issue a model for publication, and there is a need for change in the academic system as well as the legal system of investment to find funds for youths’ innovations.

"Any country can overcome its challenges and punishments through a method of education that builds character…" said a business leader from Belgium, adding that there is an urgent need to train children on innovating.

The World Youth Forum held on Tuesday a session entitled “Innovative Youth Experiences in Entrepreneurship” discussing the methods of scientifically empowering young people and encouraging them to establish their own businesses as well as the role of communication and Information technology in the field of entrepreneurship.

The WYF, which launched on Sunday, is a forum designed to give youth from all over the world the chance to engage in the development of the world. It is a chance to allow them to be heard as well by world leaders and influential individuals. Egypt’s first international youth event is set to run until November 10, bringing together 3,000 youth represented by 60 delegations from around the world.
