DAMASCUS - 3 November 2017:Syrian government forces on Friday took control over al Rashdia district and stormed al Hawiqa district in Deir Ezzor, the Syrian television reported.

The state television added that the Syrian forces have found large amounts of ammunition and explosives in al Rashdia district and the army units continue purging freed districts in the city, according to Russia Today channel.

The army managed to control the district after killing a large number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and vehicles.

This advance came a day after the Syrian army recaptured al Hamidiyeh district in which terrorist Daesh's most important outposts in Deir Ezzor existed.

On Thursday, the army units controlled al Jbiliah, al Abed and al Jamaiat neighborhoods in the city of Deir Ezzor and destroyed explosive devices and mines that were planted by Daesh to obstruct the progress of the army.

Media reports said earlier that such advance means that the Syrian forces have fully controlled Deir Ezzor.
