ACA arrests head of Rehab city over bribery charges

CAIRO - 2 November 2017: The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) arrested head of Rehab city red-handed, taking EGP 200,000 bribe from an owner of unlicensed building in the city.

The director of the legal affairs department at the New Cairo City Authority was also arrested over the same charges.

The ACA also arrested an owner of a major car company for manipulating documents of customs release of 161 cars.

The due customs on these cars are estimated at EGP 40 million.
