Bahrain imposes entry visas on arrivals from Qatar

CAIRO – 31 October 2017: King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, King of Bahrain, has called to tighten the security and entry procedures to the Kingdom to comply with current security requirements, including impose of entry visas starting with Qatar.

During a meeting of the Bahraini Cabinet on Monday, the Bahraini monarch ordered the competent authorities to take measures to protect the tourism industry from being utilized or harm the country’s security and stability.

Earlier, Nabeel AlHamer the media adviser to King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa King of Bahrain, announced on his twitter account that his Majesty will not attend any summit or gulf meetings attended by Qatar.

Stressing that defeating terrorism is mandatory, however, yet Bahrain will always be stable and secured.
