CAIRO – 27 October 2017: The National Military Production Authority and Italian machine manufacturer Monzese signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a factory for producing locally-manufactured digital control machines.

The purpose of this MoU is to establish a framework for the industrial cooperation between Italy and Egypt, especially in light of the rapprochement between the two countries and the state’s strategy directed towards implementing such manufacturing factories that produce high-tech machines necessary for touching up domestic industries, opening the doors to youth employment, said Minister of Military Production Mohamed Al-Assar.

For his part, Ricardo Bisina, general manager of Monzese, expressed his happiness with this joint cooperation, while crediting the Egyptian military’s great technological, manufacturing and human potential.

Bisina explained that under the memorandum signed between the two sides, Monzese, which is considered one of the most important manufacturers of grinding equipment, will harness its technology in the service of the new company, adding that the company will provide technical training for the Egyptian labor working at the company.
