Hegazi in Cairo after attending conference of chiefs of staff in Washington

CAIRO - 26 October 2017: Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazi returned to Cairo on Thursday coming from Washington after attending a conference of the chiefs of staff that discussed counter-extremism efforts.

The conference discussed a number of issues regarding coordination of regional and international efforts to eliminate terrorism and confronting threats and challenges. 

Hegazi met with a number of senior military officials to boost partnership relations and military cooperation between Egypt and a number of countries.
