CAIRO - 26 October 2017: Former French Minister of Justice, Rachida Dati, urged the world to support Egypt in its battle against terrorism, during an interview on DMC, an Egyptian TV channel on Wednesday.

“The terrorism Egypt is fighting is threatening the whole world, that’s why we should stand together with Egypt,” Dati told “DMC Night” program; calling on the European parliament to contact its Egyptian counterpart in order to be briefed on the reality of the battle going on in Egypt.

The former justice minister said that Egypt has contributed to humankind’s history; criticizing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for overriding the limits in dealing with Egypt, saying that Turkey should be a member of the EU.

Egypt witnessed a deadly attack against security forces al-Wahat al-Bahareya in the Western Desert last Friday, which led to the death of 17 officers and injury of 13 others.
