Police foil assault in Arish, kill two terrorists

CAIRO – 26 October 2017: Security forces in Al-Arish, North Sinai, managed to foil an assault by five armed militias on Wednesday evening, a Police Media Centre press statement announced.

The five terrorists, riding a pickup truck, opened fire towards the police troops. The exchange of fire killed two terrorists, injured one and forced the rest of them to flee the scene.

Security personnel were deployed to scout the area and track down the offenders immediately.
