Support Coalition launches campaign demanding Sisi run for 2nd term

CAIRO - 14 October 2017: Chairman of Egypt's Support Coalition Mohamed al-Sewedy said Saturday that the coalition will launch a popular campaign demanding President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to run for a second presidential term in office.

El Sewedy explained in press statements that this step comes in light of Sisi's many accomplishments and major national projects implemented during his first presidential term.

He stressed that the coalition's representatives in Parliament and other members of the coalition will be in the front line of Sisi's supporters in the presidential elections.

In addition, he revealed that the coalition will put an organised and popular plan to create momentum to encourage citizens to vote in the presidential elections.

The chairman of the coalition pointed out that the official announcement of the launch of the campaign will take place during the inauguration of the coalition's branches in various governorates.
