Borg el Arab customs authorities foil currency smuggle attempt

CAIRO - 11 October 2017: Customs authorities at Borg el Arab International Airport foiled on Tuesday an attempt to smuggle a large amount of foreign currency.

In statements, a source at the customs authority said officers suspected three passengers who were leaving the country and found with them about $152,700 and £3,995.

All legal measures were taken and a probe was launched into the incident.
