CAIRO – 6 October 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will visit the New Administrative Capital on Friday to follow the progress in the building of the new institutions, according to official sources.

It was determined to transfer the government to the facilities in the New Administrative Capital in June 2018, after the presidential elections, the sources added.
Earlier, President Sisi urged continuing the implementation plan of the government ministries in the new capital and sticking to the set timeline.

The New Administrative Capital is planned to include 21 residential districts, educational institutions, hospitals, 40,000 hotel rooms, a theme park, solar plants and a new international airport.

Land plots in the new capital have already been launched for investors and developers, who are interested in participating in the mega project.

Participating developers until now are the Arab Contractors Company, Concord for Engineering and Contracting Company, and Talaat Moustafa Group Holding Company.
