Sisi approves skills development project with Canada

CAIRO - 28 September 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi issued a decree Thursday approving the sub-agreement between the Egyptian and Canadian governments on the implementation of the skills development project in Aswan, according to the Official Gazette.

The Canadian government is set to finance the project with up to $10 million and 625,000 Canadian dollars over five years.

The agreement was signed on December 28, 2016. It comes under the umbrella of the general agreement on development signed between Egypt and Canada in January 1983.
