CAIRO – 27 September 2017: Several Arab political and public figures affirmed Qatar’s support for terrorism during giving speeches and testimonials, Wednesday while participating in the ‘Qatari’s policies dangers on the region’ conference held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The conference was presented by Egyptian writer Adel Hamouda, Al Jazeera English former office manger Mohamed Fahmy, Yousef Albinkhalil, Al Watan Bahraini newspaper editor-in-chief, Salem Ahmed manger of Al Mezmaah Studies and Research center and Amged Taha, regional manager of the British center for Middle East researches.

“Money became power in the western media, As Washington post article about hacking the Qatari-state owned news agency by the UAE is a real proof for what I’m saying. They received a bribe from Doha to report about it,” Fahmy said.

Also, during his speech, Taha assured that he personally meet with several fugitives who coordinated with Qatari officials to organize a demonstration near the UAE Embassy in London.

Participants of the conference organized by Al Mezmaah Studies and Research Center assured that the Qatari regime has been dealing with terrorists for a long time.

“Al Jazeera turned to be part of the conflict in the region, not just a news channel. All of the media norms and laws were violated by its crew, as we can’t trust it anymore,” Fahmy added.

On June 5, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain, decided to cut all diplomatic ties with Qatar, hurling allegations that the state supports terrorism. Ports and airspace were cut off to Qatari vessels.

On June 6, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Al-Sabah started a tour that included Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar in an attempt to mediate between the three countries.

A list of 13-demands was given to Doha’s government by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain for reconciliation which includes the closing of Al Jazeera broadcasting; however, Qatar’s response was described as “negative” by the four countries’ foreign ministers in a joint statement released after holding a summit in Cairo July 5.
