British Amb in Egypt launches campaign celebrating women

Cairo – 7 September 2017: This September the British Embassy in Cairo launches a campaign on Wednesday to support and celebrate Egyptian female leaders and their partnership with men in the community, under the title “Khalsana bi Sharaka” (Together is Better).

British Ambassador John Casson posted a video on Twitter as part of the campaign, where he states that Egypt and the UK have many examples of successful women, but that their partnership with men in the community still has a long way to go before it becomes an effective reality.
