Libya’s Haftar receives British foreign secretary

BENGHAZI - 25 August 2017: Commander of the Libyan army General Khalifa Haftar held a meeting Tuesday with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in Benghazi.

According to the Libyan army media office, the meeting took up the latest political developments in Libya. It was attended by the UK ambassador to Libya along with a group of Libyan military officials and the British delegation members.

Earlier, Johnson arrived in Benghazi and visited western cities of Libya where he held a number of meetings with members of the Libyan government including Libyan Unity Government Prime Minister Fayez Sarraj.
