Transport min suspends 4 railways employees from work

ALEXANDRIA - 12 August 2017: Transport Minister Hisham Arafat on Friday ordered that two railways officials and two control tower operators be suspended from work after two trains collided in Alexandria earlier in the day.

The minister stressed that those responsible for the accident will be held accountable.

Two passenger trains collided in Alexandria on Friday, killing at least 40 people and injuring 133 others.
