Belarus, Egypt discuss upgrading railway sector

CAIRO - 29 July 2017: A delegation from the Transport Ministry in Belarus has met with Egyptian transport officials to discuss the use of technology to upgrade the railway infrastructure.

During their visit, which started July 27, the delegates and Egyptian officials probed means to electrify railways, repair rails and establish new ones, a statement by the Embassy of Belarus in Cairo said Saturday.

They also discussed upgrading the railway sector, the statement added.
