CAIRO – 30 April 2024: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli welcomed the historic visit of Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko to Egypt, marking a significant milestone in bilateral relations.

 

Madbouli's remarks were made on Monday as he formally greeted Egypt's distinguished guest upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport.

 

Accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Belarusian ministers, senior officials, and businessmen, Golovchenko received a red-carpet reception upon his arrival.

 

Madbouli emphasized the importance of signing several agreements to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Belarus across various sectors, leveraging Belarus' expertise in heavy industries.

 

In response, Golovchenko expressed gratitude to his Egyptian counterpart for the warm hospitality extended to him, praising the strong relationship between both nations.

 

He also expressed optimism that the visit would further strengthen bilateral ties across diverse fields
