CAIRO – 29 April 2024: The Decent Life Initiative, targeting to develop the Egyptian countryside, took part in donating humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip enduring Israeli shelling since October by sending 503 trucks to the enclave at a cost of LE530 million.  

 

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli stated Monday at the World Economic Forum that 85 percent of humanitarian aid delivered to Gaza is donated by Egypt. Further, thousands of Palestinian injured and patients in critical conditions are receiving medical treatment in Egyptian hospitals.

 

Madbouli lamented that the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip had been inflicting harm on civilians and not Hamas, showcasing that over 34,000 were killed, 77,000 were injured, and 7,000 are still under the rubbles. Moreover, 80 percent of medical establishments and 70 percent of the infrastructure have been destroyed.
