Egypt strongly condemns Moscow terror attack

CAIRO – 22 March 2024: Egypt has strongly condemned the shooting incident that took place at a music concert hall near the Russian capital, Moscow, resulting in the loss of many lives and injuries.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed its deepest condolences to the government and people of Russia, as well as to the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to all the injured.

Egypt reaffirmed its strong condemnation and full rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism, expressing its full solidarity with Russia in this difficult time.

At least 40 people have been killed and more than 100 wounded according to unofficial reports in the worst terror attack in Russia in years, as gunmen in combat fatigues opened fire and detonated explosives in a big concert hall in the outskirts of Moscow.
